Beijing Design Week 2014 Production Assistant (http://www.bjdw.org/en). Barcelona, as the Guest City in that edition, presented in Beijing (China) a full program focused in Design and Culture that included a number of exhibitions, activities, conferences and collaborations with local design studios, as well as a visit from a Catalan business delegation of design companies.

From September 27th to October 3rd 2014, Barcelona showed in Beijing its singular modernist architecture, the pioneering urban planning and also its Design, Video and Cultural proposals.

The Guest City Program of Barcelona at Beijing Design Week was an initiative of the Institut Ramon Llull (www.llull.cat), a public institution founded with the purpose of promoting Catalan culture abroad, in partnership with the Institut de Cultura, the Department of Economic Development, and the Department of Urban Housing of the City of Barcelona (www.bcn.cat), with the collaboration of many of the city’s institutions, organizations and businesses, and the sponsorhip of Air China (www.airchina.com).
